U.S. stocks shrugged off a faltering start to rise over 2 percent on Wednesday,
as a rebound in technology shares and an Amazon-led jump in retailers put the
market on pace to snap a four-session losing streak. .N 
    At 13:06 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 2.18 percent at
22,267.05. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 2.27 percent at 2,404.42 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 3.12 percent at 6,385.878.
