Directorate Changes

The Board of Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that Diana Dyer Bartlett
has informed the Board that, for personal reasons, she will not be seeking
re-election at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

As a consequence Resolution 5, her proposed reappointment, is
withdrawn.  Diana joined the Board at launch in 2018, and has acted as a
non-executive director, Chair, and Chair of Audit over her time on the
Board.  The Board thanks Diana for her service and efforts on behalf of all
shareholders.
