 Purchase of Ordinary Shares for Treasury

 Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 27 March 2024, it purchased
 for holding in treasury 200,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of
 1,416.3059 pence per share.
 Following this transaction, the Company has 22,065,000 ordinary shares held in
 treasury and 155,042,958 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
 ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
