 Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 16 May 2024, it purchased for
 holding in treasury 150,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of
 1,422.7795 pence per share.
 Following this transaction, the Company has 27,290,000 ordinary shares held in
 treasury and 149,817,958 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
 ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
