SPI Energy: Gains on new supply contract

** Shares of renewable energy co  SPI.O  up 3.14% at $8.53
premarket 
    ** Co's unit SolarJuice Co has entered into a contract with
the Aboriginal Housing Office, a government department of New
South Wales, to supply solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to up to
2,600 properties across New South Wales  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nACSyDh9Ca
    ** Under the contract, SolarJuice will begin the program
rollout in March
    ** The contract represents ~8.5 megawatts (MW) of solar PV
which will be deployed over a 12-month period across residential
properties
    ** Co says the solar program is designed to provide economic
benefits to Aboriginal people and also contributes to zero
emissions in the future
    ** Up to last close, stock up ~4% YTD
