Lodgment of Claim Against Range Resources Trinidad Limited

 

Star Phoenix, an AIM listed company (AIM: STA) focused on growth through
attractive opportunities, provides the following update in relation to its
wholly owned subsidiary in Trinidad, Range Resources Drilling Services
Limited ("RRDSL").

RRDSL, through its attorney (Robin B. Ramoutar & Co), has submitted three
claims at a total amount of approximately TT$14.9 million (£1.78 million)
against Range Resources Trinidad Limited ("RRTL" or the "Defendant") in the
Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago in respect of breach of loan, service and
equipment rental contracts from the Defendant (the "Claims"). A Court date
will be scheduled in due course.

The Company will provide updates as appropriate.

This announcement has been approved by Chairman Lubing Liu on behalf of the
