Cancellation of Proposed Acquisition of Fairview IB World Schools

 

Starcrest Education Limited (LSE: OBOR, the international developer and
operator of education services in Europe, announces the cancellation of its
intended acquisition of Fairview IB World Schools ("Fairview"). The Proposed
Acquisition was initially announced on 23 March 2022.

 

Starcrest, subject to matters including but not limited to legal and financial
due diligence, agreed to acquire an interest in several Fairview IB World
Schools (the "Proposed Acquisition"), which would have amounted to a reverse
takeover under the Listing Rules.

 

Suspension

 

The suspension of trading in the Company's ordinary shares will remain in
place until publication of the audited financial statement for the year ended
31 December 2022 and the unaudited interim results for the period ended 30
June 2023.
