Directorate Change

 

Starcrest Education Limited (LSE: OBOR), the international developer and
operator of education services in Europe, advises that it has received and
accepted a letter of resignation from its Non- Executive Chairman, John
McLean, effective 20 June 2022. In light of this, Jasbeer Singh and David Lim,
Non-Executive Directors, have been appointed as the interim Co-Chairman of the
Company. Starcrest will seek to recruit a replacement Chairman in due course.

 

Starcrest continues to advance the respective workstreams in respect of the
Proposed Acquisition, as originally announced on 23 March 2022. In this
regard, Starcrest is pleased to announce that it is currently in the process
of engaging with and appointment of advisers for the acquisition exercise.

 

A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate.

 

Commenting today, Executive Director, Jeff Zhang said:

"The Board would like to thank John for his invaluable contribution to the
Company since joining as Non-Executive Chairman in January 2019.  We wish him
all the best in his future endeavours."
