Directorate Changes

 

Starcrest Education Limited (LSE: OBOR), the international developer and
operator of education services in Europe, is pleased to announce the
appointments of Mr. Lim Hun Soon ("David Lim") and Mr. Jasbeer Singh to the
Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.  The
directorate changes are further to the announcement on 23 March 2022 regarding
the advance agreement with Fairview International School (UK) Limited and
proposed acquisition of Fairview IB World Schools.

 

Professor Petford and Mr. Cumming will step down from their roles as
Independent Non-Executive Directors of the Company with immediate effect.

 

Mr. David Lim is currently a Non-Executive Director of Press Metal Aluminium
Holdings Bhd, Public Investment Bank Bhd, Ranhill Utilities Bhd, Kawan Food
Bhd and Rockwills Trustees Bhd. Mr David Lim has also held a number of other
Non-Executive Directorships and a former Council member representing Malaysia
for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales - ICAEW
(2013-2019) and retired after serving the maximum term of 3 terms of 2
years.  He retired from KPMG in 2011 after 33 years, including 21 years as a
Partner and in both the Management Committee and Supervisory Board for over a
decade.

 

Mr. Jasbeer Singh is an Advocate and Solicitor of Malaysia with extensive
litigation, arbitration, advisory and conveyancing experience.   He acts as
an advisor to a number of listed corporations and public administrative bodies
across a wide variety of sectors and industries.
