SunPower falls as it delays filing annual financial report

** Shares of solar energy services provider SunPower
SPWR.O drop ~3.2% to $3.07
** Co announces delay in filing form 10-K for fiscal 2023
** Says it requires additional time to complete financial
statements included in the 10-K due to "the time and effort that
was required to complete restatements of the company's prior
period financial statements"
** Earlier this week, SPWR said its CEO Peter Faricy has
departed and the co is searching for new CEO
** SPWR in December had raised doubts about its ability to
stay in business
** Stock has fallen ~36% so far this year
