** Shares of connectivity infrastructure provider for
broadband networks  JCS.O  down ~4% at $2.20 in extended trade
    ** Shareholder Gamco Investors intends to vote against
Communications Systems' proposed merger with Pineapple Energy,

    ** Gamco said it, along with its associates, owns 14.8% in
JCS
    ** In March last year, JCS announced its deal with
Pineapple, a U.S. operator and consolidator of residential

    ** Shares of JCS had fallen ~47% last year
