UK's Sureserve hits record high on $266 mln takeover deal

** Shares of Sureserve Group Plc SURS.L surge as much as
36.7% to a record high of 123p
** The social housing energy services provider agrees to a
214.1 mln pound ($265.8 mln) takeover by Cap10 Partners LLP
** Sureserve shareholders to get 125p in cash for each share
held, a premium of 38.9% to Thursday closing price of 90p
** Sureserve board intends to unanimously recommend
shareholders vote in favour of deal
** Stock set to post best day since July 2016, if trend
holds
** As of last close, stock up about 3% YTD
($1 = 0.8056 pounds)
