MOSCOW, July 11 (Reuters) - Russian mid-sized oil producer Tatneft TATN launched a new hydrocracking unit at its TANECO refinery, the company reported on Friday.
The new unit, with an annual capacity of 1.2 million metric tons, will receive the feedstock of vacuum gasoil from the AVT-6 crude distillation unit at TANECO.
It will produce 0.64 million tons of low-sulphur diesel Euro-6 grade and 0.229 million tons of naphtha, it said.
TANECO launched the first hydrocracker with an annual capacity of 3.3 million tons in 2014.
TANECO refined 17 million tons of crude oil in 2024, and produced 2.7 million tons of gasoline and 8.5 million tons of diesel, according to industry sources.
