Wall Street's main indexes turned lower on Tuesday in volatile trading as bank
and megacap growth stocks slumped on concerns over aggressive monetary
tightening and slowing economic growth.  .N 
    
    At 11:45 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.27% at
32,157.57. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.09% at 3,987.46 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.27% at 11,655.025.
