** Shares of communications equipment maker  TCCO.O  surge
36.3% at $4.44; stock is the third biggest pct gainer across all
U.S. exchanges
    ** TCCO receives orders valued at $2.7 mln on Tuesday from
defense equipment and services provider ADS Inc for co's
encryption systems
    ** TCCO says orders are in support of a foreign military
sales contract between the U.S. government and a Middle Eastern

expected to occur over the next six months, co says
