reported by 19:53 GMT on Monday:
    
    ** Air conditioner maker Carrier Global Corp  CARR.N  is in advanced talks to acquire German
industrial manufacturer Viessmann for more than $12 billion, including debt, according to people

    ** Italy's Treasury and Germany's Lufthansa  LHAG.DE  have agreed to extend exclusive talks
over the sale of ITA Airways until May 12 from the previous deadline of April 24, a source close

    ** French money manager Primonial said that it is weighing a piecemeal sale of its
distribution and property investment operations, after a deal to find a buyer fell apart last
