    ** Shares of cannabis producers rise after Ontario, Canada's
biggest province, signs supply deals with 26 cos ahead of
legalization of recreational use of the plant
    ** Suppliers include: Aurora Cannabis  ACB.TO  up 7 pct,
Canopy Growth  WEED.TO  up 3 pct, Tilray Canada  TLRY.O  up 10
pct, Organigram Holdings  OGI.V  up 2 pct, Hiku Brands  HIKU.CD 
up 2.3, THC Biomed  THC.CD  up 14 pct
    **  Ontario Cannabis Store will begin online sales of
recreational marijuana starting Oct. 17, while private retailers
will be allowed to operate from April
    ** Cronos Group  CRON.TO  up 9.2 pct, secures supply deals
with Ontario Cannabis Retail, BC Liquor Distribution Branch
