The S&P 500 and the Dow were set to open higher on Thursday as a keenly awaited
inflation reading came in line with expectations, keeping alive hopes the
Federal Reserve could pause its monetary tightening.  .N 
    
    At 9:08 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.37% at 35,084. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.10% at 4,528.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
0.10% at 15,486.
