U.S. stocks fell on Friday after the United States announced tariffs on $50
billion worth of Chinese goods, spurring a promise of immediate and equivalent
retaliation from Beijing.  .N

at 24,920.99. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.65 percent at 2,764.54 and the
