Australia's Toro Energy soars on lower capex view for uranium mine

** Shares of Toro Energy Ltd  TOE.AX  jump as much as 11.8%
to A$0.019, on track for best day since Sept. 9, if gains hold
    ** Says its new capital expenditure estimate for its
proposed standalone operation in Western Australia's Wiluna
uranium mine is A$270 mln ($202.5 mln), A$45 mln less than

    ** Says the Lake Maitland uranium-vanadium operation will
have a ~17 year-life span
    ** About 10.9 mln shares change hands compared with a 30-day
average of 7.9 mln shares 
    ** Stock down 22.7% so far this year, as of last close
