Trevena jumps on positive early data for experimental drug

** Trevena's  TRVN.O  shares rise 13.1% to 98 cents  
    ** Co says data from two early-stage studies of its
experimental pain relief drug supports its therapeutic potential
    ** TRVN is testing the drug, TRV045, as a potential
treatment for a type of sensory pain associated with
diabetes-induced nerve damage
    ** Co says in one of the studies, patients showed
significant reduction in a type of sensory pain after treatment
with the drug compared to a placebo   
    ** TRVN says data from second study will support exploring
the drug's potential to treat epilepsy, which co is evaluating
through a collaboration with the National Institutes of Health 
    ** Including session moves, shares down 30.5% YTD
