Trevena rises as Q1 loss more than halves

** Shares of drugmaker Trevena Inc  TRVN.O  rise 6.7% to
$1.44 premarket
    ** TRVN reports Q1 net loss of $7.8 mln, or $0.81/share,
versus loss of $16.4 mln or $2.48/share last year
    ** Says as of March 31, it had cash, cash equivalents and
marketable securities of $27.4 mln, which TRVN believes will be
sufficient to fund operations through year-end 2023
    ** Up to last close, stock had fallen 5.59% so far this year
