India's Equitas Holdings, Ujjivan Financial plunge to record lows

** Shares of Equitas Holdings Ltd  EQHL.NS  and Ujjivan
Financial Services Ltd  UJVF.NS  hit record lows 
    ** India's central bank has asked both cos to comply with
rules and list their small finance banks within three years of
commencing ops, Ujjivan and Equitas said in separate statements

    ** Equitas said that at its board meet next month, it will
consider steps to get Equitas Small Finance Bank listed and
approach Reserve Bank of India for approval to merge with co
    ** Equitas shares plunged as much as 28 pct to 92.35 rupees,
a record low
    ** More than 17.5 mln shares trade hands as of 0556 GMT,
eight times their 30-day moving avg 
    ** Ujjivan shares tanked as much as 22 pct to 171.65 rupees
to hit lifetime low
    ** Over 10 mln shares traded, eight times their 30-day
moving avg of 10.1 mln shares
