YEAR END CHANGE

PKF LITTLEJOHN LLP APPOINTED AUDITOR

 

Upland Resources Limited (LSE: UPL) is pleased to announce that in order to
align its year end date with that of its two associated companies in Malaysia,
the board of the Company has approved a decision to change the Year End date
to 31 December.

 

The next audited accounts will be prepared for the 18 months ending 31
December 2023.

The Company also advises that it has appointed PKF Littlejohn LLP ("PKF") as
its auditor to succeed Crowe U.K. LLP ("Crowe") who resigned on 1 June 2023.
 In accordance with paragraph 9(a) Section 113B of the Companies (Jersey) Law
1991, Crowe have confirmed to the Company that they are not aware of any
circumstances connected with their resignation that they consider should be
brought to the attention of members or creditors of the Company. The directors
wish to express their gratitude for the service and advice provided by Crowe
during their tenure.

 

 

Bolhassan Di, Upland Chairman and CEO commented:

"As part of effort to streamline our administrative processes we have now
changed our accounting Year End date to align with those of our local
Malaysian entities, Upland Resources (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd and our joint venture
company Upland Big Oil Sdn Bhd. In addition, we welcome PKF as the new
company auditor and we thank Crowe for their support over the years.

 

Headquartered in Kuching Sarawak, Upland has unique access to opportunities,
leveraging a strong network of industry ties and partnerships, we are building
a sustainable business focused on delivering revenues. We are in the final
stages of signing an MOU with a large O&G engineering service company.
Additionally, we are now evaluating potential PSC partners and drilling
services companies to develop block SK334 in Sarawak. We expect the remainder
of summer period to be busy, with multiple news flow events for shareholders."
