U.S. stock index futures started the week cautiously on Monday, after skidding
at the end of last week, as edgy investors waited for the Federal Reserve's
monetary policy guidance and its implications of slowing global growth.  .N 
    At 7:57 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.35 percent at 24,028. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.28 percent at 2,594.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis
 NQc1  were down 0.27 percent at 6,581.5.
