** Co reports collaboration with Merck MRK.N to study a
combination therapy in patients with advanced, recurrent or
metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma - cancers of
the mouth, sinuses, nose or throat urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nGNX1zK9w3
** The two companies will study a combination of Vaccinex's
pepinemab, an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody, and
Merck's Keytruda
** A major goal of the study is to determine if the
combination therapy can improve response in patients, and result
in progression-free survival and overall survival
** As of last close, VCNX stock up ~9% YTD
