Jan 23 (Reuters) - Vergnet SA  ALVER.PA : 
    * Extension of the contract with the city of Amdjarass in Chad 
    * New contract for the design, provision, installation and commissioning of a grid-forming 
system using high capacity energy storage that will provide 100 pct renewable energy to the city 
of Amdjarass in eastern Chad 
    * This second tranche of the contract corresponds to an amount greater than 8 million euros  
($8.6 million)
