Vincerx Pharma rises on FDA nod for human trials for cancer therapy

** Shares of cancer drug developer Vincerx Pharma Inc
 VINC.O  up 32.3% at $0.89, set for best day in over two months
    ** Company says that U.S. Food and Drug Administration
cleared its application to begin human trials for its cancer
therapy
    ** Vincerx plans to begin first human trial in Q1 2023
    ** Company's drug, VIP236, belongs to a class of drugs
called small molecule-drug conjugates
    ** Data from preclinical studies show VIP236 can deliver up
to 40 times more drug to the cancer and cause significant tumor
regression, according to the company
    ** Including session gains, Vincerx shares down ~91.6% YTD
