Vincerx Pharma tumbles as cancer therapy study data comes in below expectations

** Shares of Vincerx Pharma  VINC.O  slump 51.5% to $2.32
premarket
    ** Brokerage Leerink Partners says that early-stage data for
the co's experimental cancer therapy VIP236 demonstrated some
anti-tumor activity, but was below investor expectations
    ** Seven patients in the trial achieved stable disease,
including tumor reduction 
    ** VINC expects to present additional early-stage data later
this summer
    ** Its other therapy candidate VIP943 for types of blood
cancer showed no dose limiting toxicities in an early-stage
study evaluating its safety
    ** Up to last close, stock up three-fold YTD
