Memes sink in a sea of red with Aterian leading declines

** Shares in companies such as Aterian Inc  ATER.O , AMC
Entertainment  AMC.N , eFFECTOR Therapeutics Inc   EFTR.O  and
Vinco Ventures Inc  BBIG.O  were tumbling on Tuesday as interest
in the recent "meme" stock favorites appeared to fade 
    ** ATER last down 35.0% at $11.68 after closing up more than

    ** BBIG was last down 11.4% at $8.50 on track for its third
straight day of declines after rallying to a record high of
$12.49 on Sept. 8
    ** Another recent favorite EFTR was down 25.9% at $19.80 on
Tuesday though volume was light at just 0.1 times its 10-DMA.
EFTR shares had started picking up steam 
    ** AMC, one of the most consistently popular memes was last
down 5.9% at $48.63 after it rallied for three consecutive
sessions to close on Monday at its highest level since July 2
    ** GameStop  GME.N  last down 1.7% at $199.87
    ** Support.com  SPRT.O  was getting crushed, last down 26.6%
