Result of AGM & Board Changes
Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster', the 'Group' of the 'Company'), the AIM listed supplier of managed security services and technology based security solutions to governments and government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGO's) and blue chip commercial organisations worldwide, is pleased to announce that at today's AGM all resolutions were passed and the following changes to its Board of Directors were approved.
Rt. Hon. Sir Tony Baldry appointed to the post of Chairman
Sir Malcolm Ross appointed to the post of Deputy Chairman
Martin Boden appointed to the post of Chief Financial Officer
Ian Selby resigns as Chief Financial Officer
Sir Tony Baldry and Martin Boden both have extensive international experience.
Sir Tony has held various ministerial posts during the 1990s, serving as Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, with a range of responsibilities including South Asia, Africa, North America and the West Indies. Sir Tony was Chairman of the House of Commons Select Committee on International Development in the 2010 Parliament.
Martin Boden is a Chartered Accountant with considerable experience with high growth businesses. He has worked with both AIM and FTSE 250 listed companies as well as Private Equity owned organisations, having most recently been CFO at Genus plc and JDR, a privately owned energy services business. Martin has worked closely with both UKTI and UK Export Finance on overseas projects.
Commenting on the Board changes, Peter Fowler, Chief Executive Officer at Westminster Group, said:

First Quench Group Limited and its subsidiary companies have all since been liquidated following a period of Administration.
