New Debt Capital Markets business

Creating a full service offering across the debt and equity markets

WH Ireland (AIM: WHI) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new Debt
Capital Markets ("DCM") business to complement the Group's existing Equity
Capital Markets and Private Growth Capital businesses. This creates a full
service Capital Markets offering, enabling our clients to undertake a variety
of strategic fundraising options to ensure the best possible outcome for their
businesses.

The DCM business has been established following a number of senior
appointments, as follows:

·    Stuart Galvin - Managing Director and Head of Debt Products Group

·    Scott Beattie - Managing Director and Head of DCM

·    David Kent - Managing Director, DCM

·    Patrick King - Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Sales

·    Mark Truman - Managing Director and Head of Debt Trading

Collectively, the team averages over 30 years of experience in disciplines
such as corporate finance, fixed income, equity and convertible products and
alternative assets across the UK, European and Asian capital markets, with
previous experience at financial institutions including Peel Hunt,
Oppenheimer, Robert Fleming & Co, Deloitte, Herbert Smith, Equiniti,
Williams de Broe, BNP Paribas, Prudential Bache, Merrill Lynch, Jefferies
International and JP Morgan.

WH Ireland recently completed its first DCM transaction, as joint lead manager
to EnQuest PLC following the launch of its sterling denominated 9% guaranteed
retail eligible notes, which successfully raised £133m, as announced on 21
April 2022.

Biographies of new appointees

Stuart has over 30 years of experience in fixed income, equity and
equity-linked products at major banks across the UK, European and Asian
markets, including Peel Hunt, Cenkos, Canaccord and JP Morgan.

Scott is a seasoned finance professional, with more than 30 years of
experience in originating and executing transactions, having previously worked
for Peel Hunt, Oppenheimer and Robert Fleming & Co.

David is a senior capital markets and corporate finance professional with over
25 years of experience in executing transactions across multiple markets and
capital structures, and has previously had roles with Peel Hunt, Oppenheimer,
Deloitte and Herbert Smith.

Patrick has more than 30 years of experience in fixed income, equity and
convertible products in Europe, and has previously worked for Peel Hunt,
Equiniti, Williams de Broe, BNP Paribas and Prudential Bache.

Mark has over 30 years of experience covering equities, fixed Income and
alternative assets, and has previously had roles at Merrill Lynch, Jefferies
International and WMG Advisors.
