The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average slid on Friday, hit by worries
over the impact of the coronavirus epidemic on global growth, while strong
earnings from Amazon.com checked losses on the Nasdaq.  .N 
    At 10:18 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.07% at
28,550.11. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.82% at 3,256.82 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.66% at 9,237.124.
