WIZZ AIR SURPASSES 500 MILLION PASSENGER MILESTONE; SCALES TO 1,000 ROUTES AND
ADVANCES GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION STATEGY

Geneva, 3 February 2026: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air") reports 8.5%
year-on-year passenger growth in January 2026.

 

Wizz Air carried 5.35 million passengers in January, an 8.5% increase
year-on-year, with capacity rising 10.5% to 6.34 million seats. The load
factor for the month was 84.4%, down 1.6ppts year-over-year.

 

During the month:  

 

·      500 Millionth Passenger Milestone: In January, Wizz Air reached a
historic milestone, surpassing 500 million cumulative passengers in just 21
years of operation. This trajectory confirms Wizz Air's position as one of the
fastest scaling airlines in aviation history. Supported by a fleet projected
to grow from 231 aircraft in F25 to 334 by F30, the company is on track to
welcome its next 500 million travelers within the next five years.

·      A 1,000 route network: Wizz Air's network expansion and
densification strategy reached a new milestone in January, with the carrier
now offering 1,000 routes across its network. The airline now connects 200
destinations in more than 50 countries across Europe and beyond.

·      Distribution channels strengthened again: Following last month's
agreement between Wizz Air and Kyte (and Travelfusion last August), Wizz Air
signed a distribution agreement with Paxport's extensive network, which
includes Online Travel Agencies, Travel Management Companies, Travel Agents
and Tour Operators.
