Xpediator, (AIM: XPD), a leading provider of freight management services across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe is pleased to announce Wim Pauwels and Charles McGurin have been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.
Wim is a Belgian national and well known industry figure having worked in multiple senior logistics roles across Europe and the US over the past 40 years. In his most recent executive role, Wim was Chief Regional Officer for Yusen Logistics Europe up until this year, responsible for Air, Ocean, Road Freight and Contract Logistics in Europe generating an annual turnover of €1 billion. Wim began his career in logistics roles with Sony in 1978 and has been working in the sector since then, including senior roles with BAX Global, Dexion Group and Caliber Logistics.
Charles is a British national and well known industry figure having worked extensively in the international supply chain sector. Charles was most recently CEO of Allport Cargo Services Group, the global logistics organisation with annual revenues of £300 million. Prior to that, Charles spent 10 years with DHL in a variety of senior roles latterly as Vice President, Business Development EMEA.
