Urgent: India’s Yes Bank reports quarterly profit but warns of hit from AT-1 judgment
URGENT-India’s Yes Bank reports quarterly profit but warns of hit from AT-1 judgment MUMBAI, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Yes Bank YESB.NS on Saturday reported a 65% jump in second-quarter profit to 10.80 billion rupees ($114 million), but said the figure did not reflect the impact of a Supreme Court ruling this week that set aside its 2020 write-off of 84 billion rupees ($884 million) of additional tier-1 bonds.
Had the impact been recognised, the bank would have posted a quarterly loss of 52.17 billion rupees after tax, it said in a filing.
