** Shares of pharmaceutical products maker YiChang HEC
ChangJiang Pharmaceutical Co Ltd  1558.HK  jump 7.6% to HK$6.20,
their biggest daily percentage gain since Nov. 17
    ** Stock hit highest since Dec. 24, on course for a second
session of gains   
    ** Hubei-based company says its products, Metoprolol
Succinate Sustained-release tablets and Sildenafil Citrate
tablets, have obtained approval for launch from China National

    ** Says Metoprolol Succinate is a major drug for treatment
of cardiovascular diseases, while Sildenafil Citrate is for
treatment of urinary system diseases
    ** Hong Kong's healthcare index  .HSCIH  surges 2.8%
    ** The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index  .HSCE  rises 2.4%
and Hang Seng Index  .HSI  climbs 1.8%
    ** As of last close, stock down 34.8% this year
