- ChatGPT maker OpenAI plans to convert to a for-profit
company amid major personnel changes, including the resignation
of its chief technology officer, Mira Murati.
- U.S. drugmaker Pfizer PFE.N said it is voluntarily
withdrawing its sickle-cell drug Oxbryta from all markets where
it's approved, saying the benefit of the drug no longer
outweighs the risk in the approved patient population.
- Hackers linked to the Chinese government have broken into
a handful of U.S. internet-service providers in recent months in
pursuit of sensitive information as a part of a campaign called
"Salt Typhoon" by the investigators.
- U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris outlined plans for
tax incentives, including pledging $100 billion in tax credits
to boost U.S. manufacturing.
- Port terminal operator DP World is talking to Mexico's
