Wall Street tumbled on Thursday, mirroring a slump in global financial markets,
as U.S. Treasury yields surged to multi-year highs on robust economic data and
upbeat comments from the Federal Reserve, sparking fears of accelerating
inflation. .N 
    At 13:51 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.27 percent
at 26,486.44. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.29 percent at 2,887.66 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down 2.25 percent at 7,844.343.
