U.S. stocks resumed their selloff on Friday, with the S&P poised to join the
Nasdaq in correction territory, sparked by grim earnings reports from Alphabet
and Amazon that eclipsed data showing the U.S. economy continued to grow at a
healthy clip.  .N 

At 11:43 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.43 percent at
24,626.34. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.89 percent at 2,654.45 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 2.36 percent at 7,145.278.
