Australia's Zelira Therapeutics jumps on ethics approval for cannabinoid formulation trials

** Shares of Zelira Therapeutics  ZLD.AX  advance as much as
11.8% to A$0.038 after receiving ethics approval for trials of
its cannabinoid formulation
    ** Biopharmaceutical co says Levin Health received ethics
approval for mid-stage trials to evaluate the efficacy of
Zelira's cannabinoid formulation, ZTL-106, in treating patients

    ** Levin Health has licensed the formulation from Zelira to
undertake a clinical trial to test its efficacy 
    ** Approval formally received from the Bellberry Human
Research Ethics Committee (HREC), a nonprofit which reviews
human research projects in Australia
    ** Trial is expected to begin in April 2022
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday percentage gain since
Nov. 3 
    ** ZLD down 63.04% year to date, as of last close
