Appoints Palatine Paints as a Sub-Distributor in The United Kingdom

 

Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED), a provider of fire safety and heat management
technology solutions, is pleased to announce that it has entered a
sub-distributor agreement with Palatine Paints (Palatine).

Palatine has grown into an established name in the United Kingdom, having
celebrated 75 years in the market, and becoming one of the United Kingdoms'
most trusted paint manufacturers and suppliers.

Both Zenova and Palatine are UK businesses and remain committed to using their
respective products to improve and protect the UK's history and heritage. One
such project, which will be undertaken in Q1 of 2023, requires ZENOVA FP to be
used on a Heritage Site where the station house has previously been damaged by
fire. Further information about this project will be released in due course.

Palatine have placed their first purchase order with Zenova and will initially
stock ZENOVA primers, ZENOVA IP thermal insulation paint, and ZENOVA FP fire
protection paint. Alongside the order, Zenova will work with Palatine to
provide training to its staff on the products, which will be sold via
Palatine's UK branches and associated websites. As a result, Zenova
anticipates that there will be strong growth in the ongoing order book coming
from this relationship.

Commenting on the new agreement, Jason Huyton, Managing Director of Palatine

In a critical generational climate period for the planet, the introduction of
such an outstanding product will provide a thermal insulating coating that
embeds the most modern insulating technology in a thermos-like ultra-thin
layer, saving energy by increasing the thermal insulation level in commercial
and residential buildings. Solar heat can increase the temperature within a
building by 75% to 90%. Zenova IP has been independently tested and validated
to deflect, absorb, and dissipate up to 75% of this heat, thereby reducing the
inside temperature by up to 45% and is suitable for both exterior and
interior, on any type of surface.  Along with the Zenova FP - Intumescent
Paint and Zenova IR - Thermal Insulating Coating for render, we now offer
safer, sustainable, and cost-effective alternatives to other construction
material alternatives."
