Confirmation of leading edge Zenova FX extinguishers compliance and inaugural
order in Germany

 

 

Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED), the innovative fire suppression and interdiction
solutions Company, is pleased to provide an update on the progress of its
market-leading Zenova FX fire extinguisher range:

 

·      PFAS free

Zenova FX extinguishing fluids were independently tested and analysed by a
third-party chemist in the USA for PFAS (Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances).
This analysis confirmed that the Zenova FX fluid is fully compliant with
existing EU standards and regulations and that any trace elements of PFAS are
well below the current standards. Additionally, these tests confirmed that the
fluid is also compliant with all regulations banning PFOS (Perfluoro octane
sulfonic acid) and PFOA (Per Fluor Octanoic Acid).

 

The Directors of Zenova believe that this makes the Zenova FX range of
extinguishers the most effective fire extinguishers with the smallest
environmental chemical impact.

 

·      Successful Government and Fire Industry demo

Zenova recently demonstrated the capabilities of its Zenova FX range of fire
extinguishers to a group of leading UK Government and Fire Industry experts
captured in the accompanying video. These demonstrations were conducted with
the guidance of The Fire Service College, a division of FTSE 100 company
Capita PLC, and leading training agency.

 

The Zenova FX extinguishers performed exceptionally well dealing with a large
diesel test fire conducted on a 233B tray that normally holds 200L of
diesel.   The Zenova team used a 9L extinguisher and put out the fire using
only a third of its fluid, while the Fire Service consultants confirmed that
two 9L competitor products are often not sufficient to put out a fire this
size.  Another highlight of the day's demos was the Group's FX500 mastery in
extinguishing class A fires and in particular, magnesium fires.  A thermal
imagining camera was used during that effort, and it showed the affected
area's temperature plummet from 500 degrees centigrade to just 10 degrees, in
seconds.  A magnesium fire was the closest the consultants could get to
reproducing the conditions of a lithium battery fire.

What further impressed the industry experts was that the Zenova FX
extinguishers do not require elaborate post-usage clean-up, which is
particularly attractive to firefighter health and safety, and that using
Zenova FX eliminates the ignition risk as surfaces dropped quickly below
ignition temperature.

 

·      Inaugural order from Germany

Zenova is pleased to announce that they have received a preliminary order for
100 units of Zenova FX fire extinguishers from a large strategic client in
Germany.

 

The client was particularly impressed with the capabilities of the Zenova FX
range and is planning to roll out these extinguishers for multiple locations
across Germany which will result in further larger orders for Zenova from this
market.

thermos-like ultra-thin layer.  It saves energy by increasing the thermal
insulation level in commercial and residential buildings. Solar heat can
increase the temperature within a building by 75% to 90%. Zenova IP has been
independently tested and validated to deflect, absorb and dissipate up to 75%
of this heat, thereby reducing the inside temperature by up to 45%.  Suitable

Zenova IR, thermal insulation render

Zenova IR is a ready mixed insulation render that can be applied to internal
and external walls in commercial and residential buildings to provide
immediate insulation benefits and can be colour matched to any colour.

 

Zenova FX, fire extinguishers

A fire extinguisher like no other. It puts out class A, B, F, E fires fully
tested against European EN3 as well as British standards. Available in 6 and 9
litre sizes.

 

Zenova FX500, aerosol fire extinguisher

The Zenova FX500 is a high-performance handheld fire extinguisher that is
tested by independent experts and adheres to the highest industry
standards.   Safe for use on any type of fire the Zenova FX500 reduces the
risk of reignition. The Zenova FX 500 is quick, easy and safe to operated and
has been tested to BS6165 standard.

 

Zenova WB, wildfire barrier

A wildfire barrier fluid (applied via spray wands or aerial drops), which
provides a virtual barrier where fire simply will not burn. Repeated tests on
a variety of extremely dry wildfire fuels (grasses, hays, brush) demonstrates
the incredible fire resistance Zenova WB provides, while remaining viable
after application for30+ days in dry conditions.
