USA's largest lithium battery supplier places a first order for the FX500 via
Zenova's sub-distributor in the USA, Omnis LLC

 

Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED) is pleased to announce that via Omnis LLC (its
sub-distributor  in the USA) it has received an initial order from Big
Battery LLC based in California. Due for immediate delivery. Big Battery is
the largest lithium battery supplier in the USA and has purchased 500 units of
FX500 following a trial in which the mini extinguisher successfully
extinguished a lithium battery fire. Such fires have proved very difficult if
not impossible to put out using conventional methods. Management expect the
initial order to lead to further more substantial orders in the near future.

Zenova  - a provider of fire safety and heat management technology solutions
to a wide range of users across the globe, has begun production of the FX500
in USA as well as the UK.  The FX500 is now ready for both the retail and
commercial markets, having significant performance capabilities of
extinguishing all fire types at the simple push of a button even operating at
-10 centigrade.

 

Commenting on the sale to Big Battery, Beau Preston, President of Omnis, said:
Following our initial product launch at the Anaheim Disaster Trade show in
California, we had tremendous interest and excitement in Zenova products
(IP,IR,FP) but primarily the FX500 and WB. The subsequent interest from Big
Battery alongside large players in the transport and logistics industry as
well as the retail sector gave us confidence to place our first order for the
FX500. Gaining interest from a large player such as Big Battery, who know very
well the challenges of battery fires, is certainly an encouraging start. It is
our belief that the FX500 could perform strongly in the USA in the near term.
