German telcos rise as network agency pleads no new frequency auction

** Shares of German telcos companies such as 1&1  1U1.DE ,
Telefonica Deutschland  O2Dn.DE  and United Internet  UTDI.DE 
rise 2%-6% following the plea by Germany's Federal Network
Agency to renounce another auction of mobile radio frequencies
    ** The frequency usage rights, which expire at the end of
2025, should be extended by five years, said Klaus Mueller, the
head of the authority
    ** This follows calls from telecom groups against a new
auction, claiming the money spent on it would create gaps in 
network expansion funds
    ** 1&1 tops Germany's small caps index  .SDAXI , with United
Internet among the top performers of the index
    ** Telefonica Deutschland is among the top performers of
Germany's midcaps index  .MDAXI
