trading week, on sentiment lifted by the U.S. debt ceiling deal and hopes that
the Federal Reserve could pause its interest rate hiking cycle later this
month. Those hopes appear to have remained intact despite a much
bigger-than-expected rise in U.S. non-farm payrolls.
