March 11 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on Tuesday:

** Gjensidige Forsikring has struck a deal to acquire home ownership insurer Buysure and its subsidiary Claims Handling for 430 million crowns ($40.4 million), the Norwegian insurer.

** British investment firm Rosebank Industries ROSE.L walked away from buying U.S.-based wire harness maker Electrical Components International (ECI), citing political and equity markets volatility. nL4N3PU1JB

** Belgian insurer Ageas AGES.BR has retained advisors to explore a bid for British motor and home insurer esure, four people familiar with the matter told Reuters, as part of plans to consolidate the UK personal lines market. nL1N3PU0U6

** Power management company Eaton  said it will buy Fibrebond Corporation in a $1.4 billion deal as it looks to expand its reach into the data center market. nL4N3PU0RO

**  Bristol Myers Squibb  will acquire 2seventy bio  for about $286 million in cash, sending the cancer cell therapy maker's shares up 76% in premarket trading. nL4N3PU0Q1

** India's Zydus Lifesciences  said it will acquire an 85.6% stake in France's Amplitude Surgical  for 256.8 million euros (nearly $280 million) as part of its plans to expand further in the global medical devices market. nL4N3PU0M5

**  Franco-Dutch airlines group Air France-KLM  has offered 300 million euros ($326.82 million) for a 51% stake in Spanish airline Air Europa, news website El Confidencial said, citing unnamed sources close to the negotiations. nL1N3PU091

**  U.S.-based fund Starwood Capital is close to reach an agreement to buy a 79% stake in Spanish residential real estate developer Aedas Homes , newspaper Cinco Dias reported, citing unidentified sources. nL1N3PU07V

** Gold miner Solidcore  said it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Tokhtar gold property in northern Kazakhstan. nL4N3PU0D2
