** Marks steepest fall since April 9, 2020

** Energy firm receives firm commitments to raise A$14.5 million ($9.62 million) through placement

** Issue price of A$0.14 represents a discount of 17.6% to the stock's last close

** About 4.5 million shares change hands, 2.4 times the 30-day avg

** Stock is up 52.2% YTD, including the session's moves
