Saipem says Deep Value Driller deal falls through

MILAN, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Italian energy servicer Saipem SPMI.MI said on Wednesday it would not be able to complete the planned acquisition of the Deep Value Driller AS' drilling unit after the seller chose another buyer. Saipem said it reserved the right to take any appropriate legal action to safeguard its interests and rights in any forum. The Italian company added its 2026 financial guidance, announced late on Tuesday, remained unchanged.
