Hungarian 4iG group says cooperates with probe initiated by the government BUDAPEST, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Hungarian IT and telecoms group 4iG IGNY.HU said on Tuesday that it was cooperating in the probe of its contracts initiated by the government as "a professional and fact-based" review was essential to protect the interests of its shareholders.
The group also said in a statement that it "has always acted in accordance with the applicable Hungarian and European Union legislation during its operation and development."
Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Monday his government would review the contracts signed between the state and 4iG while the former government of Viktor Orban was in power. 4iG has interests in the telecoms sector, IT, defense and the space industry.
